Leeds Rhinos Great Burrow died in June 2024 at the age of 41, five years after receiving a diagnosis of motor neurons.
Burrow and his former teammate Kevin Sinfield have collected more than 15 million pounds Sterling for MND’s charitable organizations thanks to fundraising and campaign.
Lindsey will show up in the London marathon with his brother Mark on April 27 to continue collecting funds for the charity of Leeds hospitals and the Rhinos Foundation Leeds.
“Running the London marathon after losing my husband, Rob, against snowmobileurons is not only a physical challenge. It is a deeply personal journey of love, loss and resilience, ”she said.
“By stiffing my shoes, I wear with me the spirit of my beloved husband, Rob. His strength in front of the MND inspires me to exceed my limits and find a goal in the middle of the loss.

Lindsey, 41, ran in the first marathon of Rob Burrow Leeds in 2023 and the Yorkshire marathon last year.
