The Cricket Supremo in England Rob Key said on Thursday “it would be stupid” to govern the Ben Stokes test captain in consideration for the skipper’s role of the white ball team in difficulty.
Jos Buttler withdrew last week following a bad display to the team during the Champions Trophy Trophy 50-sur-Verse in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, where his team lost its three group games.
England has now undergone 10 defeats in 11 white ball matches this year.
Vice-Capitaine Harry Brook was seemed to be the obvious heir to buttler, but he is probably a pillar in the three international formats, which means a formidable workload.

Key, on the other hand, said that he hoped that the decision to buttler withdraw while the captain would help him find the form that made him one of the main white ball drums in the world.
The 34 -year -old man only achieved 82 points in total during champions trophy defeats by Australia, Afghanistan and South Africa.

“No matter how much he is a captain, if you don’t play as well as you can do as a striker, it’s a massive loss for our team.”
England won the 50 -year -old World Cup under the captain of Eoin Morgan in 2019 and triumphed over the T20 World Cup under buttler three years later.
But they fell in the seventh in the international day ranking and are third in the T20 ranking.
“We were very poor in the Champions Trophy,” said Key. “But the truth is that we have not been particularly good in white ball cricket, probably since the last era where Eoin Morgan did.”
England was criticized for continuing an ultra-aggressive approach under McCullum, regardless of the situation of the match, but Key said that the coach methods of the former Captain of New Zealand were more nuanced.
